LOZNICA - is a city of 30,000 inhabitants in Serbia, located on the river Drina, right next to the border of Bosnia and Hercegovina. Nearby Loznica, in the town of Tršić, Vuk Karadžić was born - famous linguist and ethnographer, creator of Serbian literary language. The first partnership agreement between Płock and Loznica was signed in 1972. After the brake in mutual contacts, caused by the Balkan conflict, the cooperation is being continued.
